Restorative Reproductive Surgery (RRS) aims to identify, treat and restore the root cause of infertility and other reproductive conditions.

Dr. Kongoassa, Medical Director, and Restorative Reproductive Surgeon, at the Centre for Reproductive Health Medicine and Gynecology, and the Center for Restorative Reproductive Surgery, runs through the diagnosis of abnormal physiology and pathology as well as different surgical approaches to restoring and optimizing reproductive function.  With extensive video, this 1-hour presentation outlines the identification, and surgical options for a number of conditions including endometriosis, adenomyosis, fallopian tube blockages/damage, fibroids, uterine polyps, low ovarian reserve, isthmocele, chronic endometritis, and ovarian cysts.

Dr. Kongoasa and his wife are devoted parents to their 5 children. A native Chinese Indonesian, he was educated in Singapore. and received his medical degree from the University of Manchester, UK. Following a research appointment at the Mayo Clinic, he did his OBGYN residency training at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Jersey. He completed his Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Endometriosis Surgery in Atlanta in 2014 and has been in practice since.

In 2019, Dr Kongoasa established Reproductive Health Medicine & Gynecology (RHM) focusing on gynecological care, infertility and reproductive health. He has completed the Fertility Education and Medical Management (FEMM) Medical Professional and NaProTechnology Medical Consultant (auditor) training. He is also the medical director of RHM’s sister practice, the Center for Restorative Reproductive Surgery, a surgical practice that focuses on restorative reproductive surgery and endometriosis excision. The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology recently conferred upon Dr. Kongoasa and his practice Focused Practice Designation in Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology.
