The International Advisory Committee (IAC) provides strategic guidance and international perspective to support the mission and global activities of the Institute. Members contribute their expertise in restorative reproductive medicine (RRM), collaborate across borders, and help shape the direction of education, research, and outreach. The IAC also advises the board of trustees on current activities and needs in each region as well as opportunities for collaboration and development within the RRM field.
Standing committee members are made up of ex officio and appointed members and meet regularly online and in person at the IIRRM Congress. Terms are for 3 years.

Committee Chair: Kevin McCarthy, MB. BCh. BAO. West Sussex, UK.

Dr Kevin McCarthy is a General Medical Practitioner (GP) in the UK (England). After graduating from University College Dublin (UCD), he completed his postgraduate training in General Practice in Australia (Australian Family Medicine Training Program) and the UK (NHS GP Postgraduate Training Program). Dr McCarthy also spent several years working in hospitals in Australia, Ireland and the UK, gaining experience in Paediatrics and Neonatology, (including care of premature infants) and in Obstetrics & Gynaecology respectively, before embarking in 1982 on a challenging career as a Family Physician (GP) in the NHS. During the course of this training, he obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecology (D. Obst. RCOG) and a Diploma in Child Health (DCH).
With colleagues from Canada and Ireland, Dr McCarthy participated in the founding of the International Institute for Restorative Reproductive Medicine (IIRRM) in 2001. Dr McCarthy was the first President of the Institute. He is now a trustee and Chair of the (IIRRM) International Advisory Committees (IACs), and remains passionate about spreading the practice of restorative reproductive medicine globally.
