In this study women diagnosed with PCOS exhibited an 8.47-fold higher risk of suicide attempt compared to controls and across age groups, reflecting previous studies which have suggested higher rates of anxiety, eating disorders, depression, and suicidal ideation. We review this study with some context of past studies and application to RRM and current patient care.
