This new research, International Natural Procreative Technology Evaluation and Surveillance of Treatment for Sub-fertility (iNEST) : enrollment and methods1  sponsored by the IIRRM, and involving multiple IIRRM members, was published earlier this year.  "iNEST" worked to establish and build more robust outcomes research for Restorative Reproductive Medicine, and was the first multi-clinic multinational study published for Restorative Reproductive Medicine (and specifically for NaProTechnology).

Dr. Joseph Stanford, the lead author on the paper hosts this journal club.  He is joined by Dr. Paul Carpentier and Dr. Shahpar Najmabadi who were also co-authors on the study.

About the Speaker

 

Joseph Stanford, MD, MSPH, is the Director of the Office of Cooperative Reproductive Health and Professor in the Department of Family Preventive Medicine, at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He has authored or co-authored numerous articles concerning pregnancy, prenatal care, natural family planning, fertility, and related topics.  His research has been funded by the NICHD, the CDC, and several private foundations.  Dr. Stanford is actively involved in many professional associations, including the Society for Pediatric and Perinatal Epidemiologic Research, the AAFCP, and the IIRRM.  He has served on national scientific advisory committees for the NICHD and the FDA in the USA.
