Grand Rounds: Endometriosis Typology and Ovarian Cancer Risk
Presented by: Karen Schliep, PhD, MSPH. Associate Professor, Department of Family Medicine and Public Health, University of Utah.
Dr. Schliep’s research examines how gynecologic disorders, pregnancy complications, cardiometabolic pathways, and psychosocial factors shape long-term health trajectories, including cardiovascular disease and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. She has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as JAMA, Paediatric and Perinatal Epidemiology, Alzheimer’s & Dementia, Human Reproduction, AJOG, and Fertility & Sterility.
This Grand Rounds presentation will explore research related to endometriosis typology and ovarian cancer risk, with attention to findings that may inform clinical understanding, risk assessment, and patient care.
