Restorative and Technological Approaches for Diagnosis and Treatment of Infertility: Pro et Contra.

Presented by: Craig Turczynski, PhD. ALS-P(AAB) (Andrology Laboratory Scientist-Provisional). Texas, USA.

Dr. Craig Turczynski holds a Ph.D. in Physiology of Reproduction and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Women’s Research Institute in Wichita, KS. He then became an Assistant Professor of ObGyn at Louisiana State University Medical School-Shreveport, where he developed and directed their clinical hormone, andrology, and IVF laboratories. After 7 years, he left the IVF field due to conflicts with the aggressive use of the technology. Subsequently, he received training in the Creighton Model and the Billings Ovulation Method®, and also completed the FEMM medical management training, and a fellowship in RRM with Dr. Phil Boyle. He was recently recertified as an andrology laboratory scientist. He believes in the intersection of virtue and science and aligns himself with organizations that seek the root cause of disease and therapeutic cures. Currently, he consults the male spouse of infertility patients on telehealth platforms from My Catholic Doctor and FEMM. His experience performing semen testing and IVF gives him a unique understanding of gamete physiology.
