Description
International Institute for Restorative Reproductive Medicine (IIRRM)
Reproductive Medicine has evolved in two very divergent streams in the last several decades. Most people are aware of the standard version, which limits many diagnostic testing procedures as they don’t change the treatment approach, which is frequently not diagnosis-specific. The treatments do not aim to correct or restore underlying function but use medications or surgical approaches that suppress, circumvent (bypass) or destroy normal reproductive function.
Established in 2000, the IIRRM is the leading voice uniting providers and researchers who share a common belief that patients deserve scientifically-based and well researched reproductive health care services that cooperate with and restore reproductive function. To address reproductive health problems, Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM) exclusively focuses investigations and treatments on identifying and correcting abnormalities and restoring or optimizing normal reproductive function. IIRRM also holds monthly grand rounds, journal clubs, conferences and resources bringing together healthcare professionals across the globe.
IIRRM is an International Institute and Charitable Incorporated Organization (CIO), under the Register of Charities in England and Wales. (www.iirrm.org). Annual donation receipts are issued in the first week of January each year. Alternatively, you can support the RRM work in America through the IRRMA, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, registered in the state of Pennsylvania, USA. Please use this link to donate.
