Dr. Yeung discusses the pre-and post surgery management of endometriosis, with a look at adhesion prevention, the use of Gore-Tex (surgical anti-adhesion membrane) in decreasing the formation of adhesions. Dr. Yeung is interested in research on pain, quality of life, and fertility following laser excision surgery for endometriosis. Other research interests include developing a non-invasive diagnostic test for early-stage endometriosis. He performs scarless laparo-endoscopic single-site (LESS) surgery, which is a minimally invasive single-incision procedure. He also specializes in laser excision of endometriosis and restorative surgery.
