NFP Apps and DOT

Victoria Jennings is the director and principal investigator of the Institute for Reproductive Health (IRH) and a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the School of Medicine.  The IRH is dedicated to helping women and men make informed choices about family planning and providing them with simple and effective natural options.

At the conclusion of the educational activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Review strengths, weaknesses, scientific rigor, and appropriate use of fertility monitoring apps
  2. Recognize challenges and approaches to researching online app use and efficacy awareness based method apps to identify trends and habits of patients
  3. Recognize the challenges of self reported data in research
  4. Review a recent publication on Dot app use and its efficacy

The RRM webinar series aims to improve both the clinicians foundational knowledge as well as highlighting new research and methods in restorative reproductive medicine. These should contribute to improved quality of care and improved patient outcomes.
