Practical Application and Integration of the "FEMM app" in Clinical Practice
- Briefly review the background of the FEMM and fertility education management tool
- Assist patients in downloading the FEMM app during an office visit.
- Help patients understand the basics of charting with the app in 1 minute or less
- Review the patient's chart on "summary view" at a follow-up visit to easily compare with lab findings and ultrasound.

Danielle Koestner, DO is a Family Medicine/OB physician who does mostly women’s health care via telemedicine. She is currently at sea with her husband and their 6 children promoting Fertility Awareness Based Methods and the associated medical protocols of the Reproductive Health Research Institute. AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, Prescribed credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.
Members of the College of Family Physicians of Canada are eligible to receive 1.0 Certified or Non-Certified Mainpro+ credits for participation in this activity due to reciprocal agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians.
The Qatar Council for Health Practitioners (QCHP) accepts American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Prescribed credit as equivalent to Category 1 – Accredited Group Learning Activities and Category 3 – Accredited Assessment Activities. When reporting AAFP Prescribed credit to the QCHP, AAFP Prescribed credit earned must be reported as AAFP Prescribed Credit equivalent to Category (1 or 3).
