Prof Stephan Gordts is an expert in microsurgical interventions and operative laparoscopies and founded the “Leuven Institute for Fertility & Embryology (L.I.F.E.)” in Leuven, Belgium, of which he remains head and scientific director. He launched the technique of transvaginal laparoscopy in 1998, serves as a reviewer of several international journals, and has published a number of peer-reviewed papers.
