Dr. Turczynski started in Animal Science, graduating with a B.S from Iowa State University and a Ph.D. in Physiology of Reproduction from Texas A&M University. He then did post-doctoral training in Reproductive Endocrinology at the Women's Research Institute in Wichita, KS. After completing his training, he accepted a faculty position in the ObGyn department at LSU Medical Center- Shreveport, LA. and directed their clinical IVF lab.
Being at odds with the aggressive use of technology and lack of a natural or restorative approach to reproductive medicine caused him to leave the field of Assisted Reproductive Technology in 1999. Dr. Turczynski has since done training in the Creighton model and became certified to teach the Billings Ovulation Method®. He works in the medical device field and is the Director of Development and Strategic Planning for BOMA-USA.
