Re-thinking the female microbiome in reproductive health

Grand rounds is held monthly for health care professionals as part of RRM's Educational Webinar Series. Presentations aim to improve the clinician's foundational knowledge as well as highlight and encourage research and new methods in the area of Restorative Reproductive Medicine. These sessions should enhance the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of healthcare delivery, and in turn lead to improved patient outcomes.

 

 

Maria Bizecki, BSP ACPR CFCP CFCPh

 

 

Maria Bizecki was raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Saskatchewan, College of Pharmacy and Nutrition, with Great Distinction in 1994.  She received her Pharmacy Hospital Residency Certificate from the Foothills Medical Centre in 1995.  She currently practices as a clinical information specialist at the Poison and Drug Information Service for Alberta Health Services.

Maria is double certified by the American Academy of FertilityCuidado as a Creighton Model Fertility Care Practitioner and as a FertilityCare Pharmacist Consultant. She has conducted webinars for the International Institute of Restorative Reproductive Medicine, spoken at the University of Calgary, Cumming School of Medicine Obstetrical Management seminar and the University of Calgary Cumming School of Medicine Therapeutics Course, and has mentored 4th year pharmacy University of Waterloo students.

Maria currently resides in Calgary, Alberta, with her husband and 5 children.
