June Grand Rounds: Reproductive Health Mindset During a Pandemic

What impact has, or could COVID-19 have, on your practice and patients?  What adjustments have you made in your practice and how has your life been impacted? Review the current medical knowledge regarding the effects of COVID-19 on the reproductive system (including genitourinary symptoms, pregnancy outcome by gestational age at transmission and maternal-fetal transmission rates) and examine how COVID19 has affected patient fertility and mental health, as well as adjustments in intention to conceive and menstrual cycle variation.

May Grand Rounds: Clinical Applications of Obstetrical Ultrasound

Improve your fetal ultrasound reading ability. Dr. Rutherford reviews first trimester ultrasound examination basics, establishing gestational age, HCG testing and ultrasound results and how early ultrasound findings impacting clinical management. She also discusses how first trimester observations can make a difference for patients and how to identify miscarriage as well as answers a number of ultrasound questions.

May Journal Club: ‘Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) is associated with depressive symptoms in pregnancy’

In pregnancy, the prevalence of both obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) and depression increases. Up to 45% of patients with OSA in the general population are diagnosed with having depressive symptoms. What is the relationship between OSA and depression in pregnant women? Should sleep screening be routine in pregnancy assessments?

Annual General Meeting and International Conference for RRM: Abstract Submission

1. Abstracts are welcome in any area relevant to restorative reproductive medicine. Restorative reproductive medicine seeks to understand, restore, and support the natural processes of human reproduction and excludes interventions that suppress, destroy, or circumvent normal human reproduction. Specific areas of interest include: fertility awareness, infertility, integrated systems of restorative reproductive medicine, reproductive endocrinology, andrology, reproductive epidemiology, reproductive anatomy and physiology, psychosocial dimensions of human reproduction, research comparing restorative and non-restorative approaches to reproductive medicine, and other topics relevant to restorative reproductive medicine. 2.  Abstracts may be of original research, systematic literature reviews, theoretical development, systematic clinical observation, or clinical quality improvement. Abstracts should reflect work that is completed or in process, but is not yet published. 3.  All abstracts must be received by September 11,  2020.

North American Virtual Conference for RRM 2020

Access to recordings and slides from this year's North American Conference and Annual meeting for RRM are now available. Held on July 22, 2020 "virtually", we are grateful to everyone—including the attendees, speakers, and facilitators—who made the conference a success. We heard from Amy Beckley, PhD, on the power of testing progesterone urine metabolites, Dr. Patrick Yeung on endometriosis adhesion prevention, and Dr. Joe Stanford on STORRM as well as a number of new RRM research abstracts. While we couldn't meet physically we enjoyed the opportunity to see everyone virtually. Conference attendees receive free access to recordings and slides.

16th Annual General Meeting and International Conference for RRM

Recordings from IIRRM's AGM and International Conference for RRM held in Dublin and Restorative Reproduction hosted by NeoFertility are now available for purchase. IIRRM offers regular education for physicians, students and allied health providers as part of a Restorative Reproductive Medicine Educational Webinar Series which are Approved for 1.0 Prescribed credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).

All Webinars are held at 8pm GMT (London, UK time)

  • RRM Grand rounds is the 4th Thursday of each month.
  • Journal Club is held the 2nd Tuesday of each month, with a RRM Research Update replacing every 4th Journal Club.
  • A webinar series dedicated to the education of Teachers is held quarterly, on the last Weds of the month.  

Although webinars are free for all current IIRRM members, we ask you register online through our website or by email invitation, so we can issue CME and send you a confidential access link to join each webinar.

    Advanced Restorative Reproduction with NeoFertility

    Dr Phil Boyle, the developer of Neo Fertility, will run an 8-week online training programme in RRM with NeoFertility from Thursday 10th September 2020. This is a doctor training programme designed to provide a structure and format to help you investigate and treat patients with RRM principles.
